Why Choose an Unlacquered Brass Toilet Paper Holder

Unlike chrome, stainless steel, or lacquered gold hardware, an unlacquered brass finish is a living finish — it develops a rich, warm patina over time for the lovers of old-world romance. No topcoat means no coating to chip, peel, or fade: just brass, aging the way it has for centuries in the world's best bathrooms.

Care & Patina Guide

To let the brass patina develop naturally, simply wipe with a soft cloth — no polishing needed. If you prefer to slow the aging process, an occasional coat of food-safe mineral oil or beeswax will help preserve the brighter tone for longer.
