Unlike porcelain or lacquered sinks, unlacquered brass is a living finish — it starts bright and golden, then develops a rich, natural patina over time. No topcoat means no coating to chip, peel, or fade, and the hammered texture adds depth and softens the look of everyday water spots and fine marks.

To let the brass patina develop naturally, rinse and wipe the sink dry after use and clean it with mild dish soap and a soft cloth. Avoid steel wool and abrasive cleaners, and rinse away acidic products rather than letting them sit. To keep the bright golden tone, polish periodically; an occasional coat of food-safe mineral oil or beeswax helps preserve the brighter tone for longer.

What sizes are available?
Four sizes, from 13" wide (Size 1) to 23.6" wide (Size 4). See the dimensions table above for width, depth, bowl height and backplate height.
Will the brass change color?
Yes — that's by design. Unlacquered brass darkens and develops patina with use and time.
Can I request a custom size, metal or finish?
Yes, sizes, metal type and finishes (including a pre-aged antique patina, or solid copper) can be customized upon request — just reach out before or after ordering.
